R+P Post 19: My influences and vision for the project

To help gather a visual idea of what our video would look like, we compiled some footage from similar videos with ideas we like and have compiled them into a steal-o-matic.

Our steal-o mainly focuses on the use of effects in post-production but possible dance routines and set-ups of characters are included too. This also showcases the initial idea for how we wanted to use transitions in our music video.

This clip from Avicii's 'Levels' highlights the effect we want to use at the end of our video with our main characters 'consciousness' rushing back into them at the end of the video as they wake up from their dream world. This looks visually effective and will anchor a strong conclusion to our music video.



This clip from Jake Miller's 'Rumors' shows the transitions that we want to use in our music video. We want our worlds to kind of drift into each other so it looks like one continuous but changing world.

We want to use UV paint for one of our party scenes as it looks particularly eye-catching on camera. This clip from a nightclub highlights how good it can look with everyone completely glowing.
